Being a huge fan of Rage for a long time, I was stoked to find this killer vid of the band performing live in Zed Records in L.A. a year or so before they “made it.” I love this kinda stuff.
The raw talent of Zack de la Rocha and Tom Morello is totally obvious but you can really see how hungry they are for bigger things. They all bring it. The desperation in de la Rocha’s face as he is screaming his message to everybody in that room is so cool from the perspective of history. He had no idea how many people were listening.
